HOW WE DRESS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO GOD!!!
I have been under a great burden of The LORD for some years to declare to all mankind, particularly all Churches and Christians, that how we dress is extremely important to The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!! In particular, the wearing of trousers by women is an abomination to God! In about two dozen visions, God has revealed to me the extremely vile, abominable, demonic and damnable nature of homosexuality. God has also shown me the pervasiveness of the practice of homosexuality that reaches to the highest echelons of society. Interestingly, revelations condemning ungodly dressing are the second most frequent revelations I have received from God; they are only surpassed in frequency by revelations condemning homosexuality.
I hereby urge all pastors, evangelists, preachers, teachers, missionaries and all other Servants of God to admonish all members of their congregations and disciples to always dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to the LORD.
It is extremely important for Mankind to be mindful of the fact that God is our Creator and he is also the Creator (Originator) of clothing and dressing! Genesis: 1:26-27 declares thus: ‘Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them”. With the Fall of Man and consequent loss of the Original Innocence of Mankind, God requires mankind to cover their nakedness! After the Fall of Man (Adam and Eve) in the Garden of Eden, God created (made, manufactured) clothes for them to cover their nakedness. Genesis: 3:21 states: “The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them”. Since God is the creator (originator) of clothing and dressing, it goes without saying that God must have (and does have) his acceptable standard of how we clothe and dress ourselves! Very importantly, since God created us male and female, with gender-distinctive physical attributes, it is self-evident that God prescribes gender-distinctive forms of clothing and dressing for males and females!
In this regard, God commanded us succinctly in Deuteronomy 22:5 as follows: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this.” It is innately clear to all mankind that God prescribes and demands gender-distinctive forms of clothing for males and females! Thus, any cross-dressing or “unisexual” dressing is egregious, rebellious affront on God’s order, will and purpose. The wearing of trousers (pants) by women is offensive and unacceptable to God because he requires women to cover the space between their legs anteriorly and posteriorly (in front and behind). However, it is permissible for women to wear short underpants or long underpants extending down to their ankles as inner clothing and as warmers especially in cold weather as long as these are appropriately and completely covered with prescribed outerwear! Equally importantly, God requires both men and women, especially women, to cover their arms and chests properly. Sleeveless outer shirts, blouses and gowns transgress and/or violate God’s prescribed standard for holy dressing.
GOD REBUKES HIS SERVANT OVER THE WAY HIS WIFE DRESSED
In a vision some years ago, about 2010, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY showed me my wife dressed in trousers (jeans trousers) and rebuked me sternly, angrily and loudly, stating: “You know your wife is not dressing properly!!” THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY then showed me how my wife must dress! He showed her dressed dignified and honorably in a three-piece outfit that included a head wrap covering her hair but fully exposing her face, an appropriately fitting and decently spacious long sleeve blouse extending down her arms/forearms to near her wrists, fully covering her chest, only exposing her neck, and extending down her trunk to her upper thighs, and a non-skimpy full length skirt extending from her waist down to her ankles. Notably, she was not wearing earrings. The LORD then spoke to me and commanded me saying: “This is how your wife should dress!!!” In obedience to God’s command, I have, for the past several years, lovingly, gently and firmly persuaded my wife and daughters to obey God’s command in this regard. The truth is that she has made effort to obey God’s command but not fully. In obedience to God’s command, my wife virtually strictly wears gender-distinctive ladies clothes to work and to church. However, she has not fully complied with God’s prescribed code of dressing while at home or when going out on errands. God has repeatedly revealed to me when my wife will disobey his command. For example, on a particular day last year, just before my wife and I woke up to go to work, God revealed to me in a vision that my wife will rebelliously wear trousers to work that day! God knows my wife’s heart and knew what she was going to do before she did it! To underscore the fact that he is very serious about his command and monitoring my wife for her obedience, God told me her act of disobedience just before she would disobey him! It was therefore no surprise to me that my wife proceeded to wear trousers to work before I told her what God had revealed to me regarding her said act of disobedience. In another vision, God commended my wife for obeying his command and instructed my daughters to follow her example!! God has since shown me and spoken to me in several visions how my wife and daughters have not fully obeyed his command! For any doubting Thomas, I hereby attest and testify that this command is from God, not from me, I am simply a Servant and Messenger of God through whom God is conveying this (his) command to all mankind! There is absolutely no chance in the world that I will lie in the Name of God and tell the whole world that God revealed and commanded me to declare this to the world if God did not command me to do so! When God first gave me this revelation, I did not doubt the revelation but I asked him to give the same revelation to a few women (particularly young girls) to confirm it for those who may think I am speaking from my prejudicial or chauvinistic male point of view! I am therefore so relieved that God has given the same revelation (message) to quite a few women and young girls, among which are the following verifiable testimonies:

It is important to note that besides covering nakedness and avoiding lewdness, an important function and mandate of holy dressing is the expression of dignity and honor to reflect the Glory and Majesty of God in whose image and likeness we are made! We must remember that The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the Creator and Sovereign LORD of the universe, is the KING OF KINGS and he sits enthroned in superlative majesty, splendor and holiness!
Dressing is so important to God that he prescribed a code of dressing for Aaron the Chief Priest and for Aaron’s sons who were priests for Israel. In Exodus 28:1-4, The LORD instructed Moses as follows: “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests. Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor. Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest. These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash.
As Christians, we are members of a royal priesthood; thus, we are priests! 1 Peter 2:9 tells us: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light”. Just as God prescribed a code of dressing for his Old Testament priests, God also prescribes a code of dressing for us, his New Testament priests!
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ wore a robe. Matthew 9:20-21 states: Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” A cloak is a lose-fitting robe extending from the shoulders down to the feet. The Apostle John testifies about Jesus Christ in Revelation 1:12-14 as follows: “I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.”
The dressing for the kingdom of God, for the saints (saved believers) is a robe that covers the entire body from the neck to the feet. The Great Multitude in White Robes is described in Revelation 7:9 as follows: “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” Revelation 7:13-14 states: “Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes-who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
Our Heavenly Father, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, is fully robed from His neck to His hands and feet. The Prophet Isaiah testifies in Isaiah 6:1 as follows: “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.” Psalm 93:1 declares: “The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.” The following excerpt from my Testimony also confirms that God is fully robed in majesty:
THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE: STANDING BEFORE GOD AT GOD’S THRONE IN HEAVEN
At dawn one morning, about September 1995, while in bed at my former residence at St. Lucien Road, Blue Range, Diego Martin, Trinidad, I was held by my left hand by an Angel of God and taken up to THE THRONE OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY IN HEAVEN. In full consciousness and at a tremendous speed, I zoomed up to heaven fully aware of the downward pull of gravity. I marveled as I saw the globular planet Earth grew progressively smaller with increase in the distance of separation until it disappeared out of sight during my ascension to Heaven.
Miraculously, the Angel and I ascended through the expansive vacuum of the Universe, and through a sea-deep layer of crystal clear water, upward onto THE THRONE OF GOD, which is suspended at the uppermost extremity of the Universe. …..
Jesus Christ, adorned in a crown and a robe of sparkling jewels, was seated majestically at the ENTRANCE OF THE THRONE OF GOD situated at the front of the right side of THE THRONE OF GOD, shielding THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY from view. Jesus embraced me, patted me on the back and welcomed me, and asked the Angel to take me inside THE THRONE OF THE FATHER. …..
When I overcame my bewilderment, I looked straight ahead and saw THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE HOLINESS OF HOLINESS, seated between the Cherubim, with absolute magnificence, majesty and indescribable brilliance, wearing a crown of brilliantly luminous pure crystals on His Head and a brilliantly luminous robe of assorted pure crystals. His body was similarly pure, luminous and brilliant! His hair was like wool, pure and brilliantly white!!

Remarkably, despite the emergence and ascendancy of deviancy and perversion in society, mankind still naturally identifies trousers (long pants) as distinctive male clothing! Traditionally, in consonance with mankind’s intrinsic awareness of gender-distinctive dressing, trousers (long pants) are reserved exclusively for men as outerwear. As has been pointed out, Mankind’s intrinsic awareness of gender-distinctive dressing is intentioned and engendered by God. Since God does not change and he remains the same yesterday, today and forever, God now and always considers and prescribes trousers (long pants) as gender-distinctive clothing exclusively reserved for men. Consequently, God disapproves of women wearing trousers (long pants) and considers it cross-dressing, transvestitism, disobedience, rebellion and perversion for women to wear trousers (long pants)!! Cross-dressing is rebellion against the sexual identities God has assigned us! We must not willfully transgress the behavioral boundaries THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY has set in place!! Cross-dressing is perverse sexual behavior! In the eyes of God, a woman wearing trousers is essentially as perverse as a man wearing a blouse, skirt or ladies’ gown!!
Thus, throughout the ages, predicated on this self-evident intrinsic awareness of gender-distinctive dressing and mankind’s intrinsic inclination thereto, mankind, across all cultures, has naturally, spontaneously and strictly adhered to the principle of gender-distinctive dressing as well as abominated any deviancy in this regard!! Mankind obeys the self-evident God-prescribed gender-distinctive dressing because, God, our Creator, has placed that inviolable truth and propensity in our hearts. To paraphrase a Biblical truism, The Law of God is written by God in the tablets of mankind’s heart!! Mankind intrinsically has both the knowledge of the truth of God (Law of God) and the inclination to obey and enforce the truth of God (Law of God); therefore, we (mankind) have no excuse whatsoever to flagrantly flout the Law of God!! Furthermore, we grievously deceive ourselves if we think we can violate the Law of God with impunity!
Even now, society adheres to mankind’s innate sacrosanct distinction between newborn male and female children (babies) by dressing them with clothing that strictly identify with their male or female genders: shirts and trousers for boys and blouses, gowns and skirts for girls. Furthermore, we also strictly adhere to the imperative for gender distinction in respect of colors for our newborn children: blue clothes and blue accessories for boys and pink clothes and pink accessories for girls. If we are compelled by our innate (God-given) sense of righteousness to inviolably dress newborn male babies in gender-distinctive male clothing and dress newborn female babies in gender-distinctive female clothing, it would be extremely unrighteous, rebellious and perverse and without an iota of justification for us to cross-dress (dress in gender-distinctive clothing for the opposite sex) as adolescents and adults when our distinctive biological, hormonal and physical male and female gender attributes are maximally and much more markedly expressed!!! If we would be appalled to see a newborn girl dressed in boys’ (male) clothing, how then could it be logical, permissible or justifiable for a pubertal girl or adult woman, who has undergone God-ordained and God-programmed biological and physiognomic changes that maximally express and accentuate her feminine characteristics, to abandon dressing in her distinctively female clothing to wear distinctively male clothing?!! Logically, is it not much more imperative and incumbent for pubertal girls and adult women to dress in distinctive female clothing than for newborn female babies to dress in distinctive female clothing??!!! Yes, it is far more imperative and incumbent for pubertal girls and adult women to dress in distinctive female clothing than for newborn female babies to dress in distinctive female clothing!!! Logically, it is far more imperative for a girl or woman that is undergoing or has undergone the changes of maturation into womanhood to dress in distinctive women (female) clothing than for a newborn baby girl to dress in distinctive female (girl) clothing!!! The natural order of things demands that a girl should progressively express her femininity (womanhood) as she progressively grows into womanhood!!! This, without question, is what God requires and/or demands of us!! We transgress the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God and do the devil’s bidding if we encourage or allow girls to stop dressing in distinctively female attire and instead dress in distinctively male clothing, as they grow progressively more feminine!!
In all honesty, the wearing of trousers by women is a rebellious behavior engendered by Satan (the devil) and not God. How else can we explain that women’s trousers (long pants) are generally and absurdly tight and skimpy! If we concede that women should also wear trousers (long pants), shouldn’t their trousers (long pants) be much more loose-fitting than men’s trousers or long pants on account of their unique physiognomy? Clearly, the concept of women wearing trousers came from the devil and the pit of hell, hence, the tailors and seamstresses, working and acting at the behest of the devil, generally make the so-called women’s trousers or long pants immodestly tight, skimpy and lewd! Let us know in our hearts that when we cross-dress, we are being transvestites or engaging in and promoting transvestism, and thus being cohorts with transgenderism, transsexualism and homosexuality!!! In God’s eyes, we are rebellious and perverse, not accepting the gender he has assigned us!
Let us be very mindful of the Biblical warning in Jude 1:5-7, which warns as follows: “Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgement on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”
Even Hollywood, in its Religious movies, knows and adheres to God’s standard for holy and acceptable dressing for women. Let us pause and think about it! As depraved as Hollywood is, it knows and generally ensures that female Biblical characters are dressed in full-length whole-body gowns and head-coverings. How would we feel and what will be our defense if God summons Hollywood stars and movie directors in the Day of Judgement to testify against us for the unholy, rebellious and perverse way we dressed!
UNGODLY MOTIVES AND UNTENABLE ARGUMENTS:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (beyond cure); who can know it?!! “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”- Jeremiah 17:9-10. Let us examine our hearts sincerely. We can always make untenable excuses to justify our wrongful ways. It is hereby imperative to highlight the principal untenable excuses we proffer:
CLIMATE AND WEATHER: Some women have justified their wearing of trousers by arguing fallaciously that trousers keep them warm in cold climate/weather and thus imply that traditional female clothing cannot keep them warm in cold or even bitterly cold weather. This is patently untrue and untenable because, even in bitterly cold weather, women were always able to dress warmly in their gender-distinctive clothing for women prior to the time women began to wear trousers. It is important to note that all women, without exception, wore distinctively female clothing to keep themselves warm when boilers, oil heaters, gas heaters and electric heaters had not been invented to keep homes warm; they only depended on grossly inadequate firewood to warm up their homes. Furthermore, they did not have the luxury of car-heating systems modern technology affords us now. If the women of previous generations that woefully lacked home, office and car heating systems kept themselves warm in bitterly cold weather by wearing gender-distinctive clothing for women, then there is no iota of justification for modern-era women to use cold weather as an excuse to wear trousers! Moreover, there are millions of women nowadays who refuse to wear trousers however bitterly cold the weather is because they find it objectionable and perverse, by their conscience, to do so! Such women are able to dress warmly even in bitterly cold weather without violating their God-engendered innate gender-distinctive dressing code.
Ironically, some of the same women who adduce the cold weather argument to justify their wearing of trousers in winter/cold weather also argue that wearing traditionally female clothing in summer makes them feel too hot and so they opt to wear trousers! The Spirit of God quickly convicts us of the fallacy of this argument by asking us to consider the Moslem women in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East who cover themselves from head to toe in the hot desert climate because they hold their dress code sacrosanct and inviolable!!
Very importantly, we know that God, our Creator, is omniscient. We therefore understand that our all-knowing and all-wise God absolutely knows the level or degree of heat intolerance that each of us that he created has. Consequently, God knows that we are able to dress comfortably in the gender-distinctive clothing he has prescribed for us without jeopardizing our health or safety! The only question is if we are willing to obey God! In this respect, we must live by and fulfill what the Scriptures declare in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”! If God made his son, Jesus Christ, to suffer such unthinkably humiliating, cruel and agonizing torture and brutal death on the Cross of Calvary to redeem our souls and save us from unbearable eternal punishment in hell, why would we have any iota of hesitation to dress in the manner that pleases him and to refrain from dressing in any way that displeases him?!
MASCULINE APPEARANCE TO EVOKE AUTHORITY: During the recent 2016 United States Presidential Electioneering campaign, Hilary Clinton almost always wore trousers (long pants) and it was adduced severally in the print and electronic media without contradiction that she did so to project masculinity to evoke authority. Essentially, Hilary Clinton was conveying the impression that she was capable of wielding and exercising the authority and powers of President of the United States in a traditionally male-dominated area. This was her motive! Interestingly, it is similarly the motive of every transgender or transsexual female to mask her femininity and project masculinity!! The Wisdom of God demands that a godly woman will not legitimize, encourage or becloud the perverse inclinations of transgender/transsexual women! Therefore, let every woman who wears trousers examine her heart to be honest with the true motives of her heart. If a woman’s motive or desire is to please God, she will refrain from wearing trousers!!!
SEDUCTIVE APPEARANCE: A woman who wears trousers must ask herself: If I am not trying to appear masculine, am I trying to appear seductive (“sexy”)? Clearly, working and acting at the behest of the devil, tailors and seamstresses generally make the so-called women’s trousers or long pants immodestly tight, skimpy and lewd! It is apparent that a significant percentage of women, especially young women, are motivated, or unable to resist the temptation, to wear tight trousers to showcase and accentuate the contours and shapeliness of their bodies.
WORK UNIFORMS AND FOLLOWING THE CROWD: Given that society has become progressively more perverse, employers are increasingly prescribing trousers as uniforms for both men and women. This is one of the multifarious ways the devil craftily corrupts mankind, leads them astray and causes them to live in rebellion against God. Some women, lacking discernment of the devil’s surreptitious evil schemes and lacking the courage to resist the devil and stand up for righteousness, succumb to the temptation and pressures of the devil and the world to dress perversely in trousers. However, like Daniel who chose not to displease God and refused to compromise his righteousness by refusing to eat meat sacrificed to idols in the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, we should stand up for righteousness and not compromise our holiness to dress in a manner that is perverse and displeasing to God. Just as Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego chose to be thrown into the fiery furnace and refused to follow the crowd to worship the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had set up, we must not follow the crowd to do anything (dress in a manner) that displeases God. We are admonished in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 as follows: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
EASY MOBILITY FOR SAFETY: Some women seek to rationalize and justify their wearing of trousers (long pants) by stating that, given the apparent advantage of easier mobility trousers offer over gender-distinctive forms of dressing for women, they choose to wear trousers to maximize their ability to escape from a multistorey (high-rise) building in the event of an outbreak of fire or any other disaster. Such thinking should come from a non-believer (non-Christian) and not from a Christian who truly believes in God! To the Christian, for the Believer-in-God, God promises in Psalm 91:5-16 as follows: “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. …, no harm will befall (overtake) you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” God affirms his promise in Psalm 121:3-8 as follows: “He (God) who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore”. It would be phenomenal lack of faith to think that God will fail to protect us in the event of disaster while we are uncompromisingly obedient to him! Such thinking is antithetical to our Faith in God and thus untenable. It is absurd and illogical to think that disobeying and displeasing God will make us safer or protect us in the event of disaster. Without question, God will be more pleased and more willing to protect us from harm if we risk our own safety to obey and please him!
LEGALISM: Some of us may be tempted to dismiss this message from God that he requires men to dress as men (in distinctively male clothing) and women to dress as women (in distinctively female clothing) as legalism or legalistic. In this regard, I wish to state in all seriousness, a disclaimer in essence, that I neither have the authority nor the desire to prescribe dressing codes for males and females. The message and/or command articulated herein comes directly and expressly from THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and not from me; I am just simply his messenger charged with the responsibility to convey the message to mankind! As a matter of fact, as testified above, The LORD frontally rebuked me sternly, angrily and loudly in a vision for allowing my wife to dress in a way she should not dress and then showed me how she should (must) dress! The LORD has subsequently and repeatedly impressed it upon me to convey his will and command in this regard to all mankind. In truth, I have been somewhat derelict in this regard and have displeased The LORD who has since convicted me in the Spirit that he will hold me responsible for mankind’s (women’s) disobedience in this regard if I, being a Watchman, failed to convey the message and command to mankind. I am therefore extremely relieved that, after quite a few years, I have hereby fulfilled this important duty to God and mankind! It should neither seem strange or absurd, nor should it strike us as legalism, that God wants and requires us to identify with and honor our male or female gender in the way we dress. We may misappropriate scripture and argue fallaciously that: God does not look at the outward appearance but at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7) and so God does not care about how we dress! However, we must be mindful of what Jesus said in Matthew 12:33-35: “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him” Very importantly, Jesus declares in Matthew 15:19, as follows: “For out of the heart come evil thoughts- murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, lying and slander.” There is corroboration in Mark 7:20-23, as follows: “He (Jesus) went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come- sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” Clearly, our words and actions are reflections of what is in our hearts! If we have immodesty, lewdness, indecency and irreverence for God in our hearts, we will dress immodestly, lewdly, indecently and irreverently!
SKIMPINESS AND LEWDNESS
We must understand that Satan is constantly and vehemently waging a vicious war against humanity; to deceive, corrupt and bastardize mankind so that they (we) do not think, act or live the way God created and intends us to think, act or live. Satan’s sole objective is to change us into who we are not; so that, like him, we would be rebellious and opposed to God and lose our favor with God, be rejected by God and cast out of the Kingdom of God and condemned to hell. In pursuance of this objective, Satan has stealthily and progressively taken control of popular culture, particularly in regards to entertainment (music, dance, movies, cartoons and video games), education, mass media (television, radio, internet and social media), religion and the way we dress (fashion industry)! To cultivate ungodly and satanic mindset in respect of the way we dress, Satan has craftily popularized and bombarded us with ungodly, skimpy and lewd idols like Barbie Doll and Betty Boop! The devil knows that when young children fall in love with these dolls and images, they idolize them and aspire to be like them in all their vanity, skimpiness, lewdness, ungodliness, unholiness and perversion! In the face of this bastardization, as we grow up from childhood, it becomes progressively and extremely difficult to break these satanic strongholds in our lives!!! Since the spirit of anti-Christ has been so deviously implanted and cultivated in humanity in early childhood by Satan, the Anti-Christ-in-Chief, and so nurtured in geometric progression as we age, mankind becomes extremely apathetic and hostile to the Spirit, Truth and Word of God in adolescence and adulthood! This explains contemporary mankind’s apathy and hostility to God and the Word of God and why contemporary Christians and Churches have become increasingly worldly, apostate and anti-Christ!!! In a vision on the 16th of September 1997, The LORD showed me people of various ages, babies and dolls. The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY then revealed to me that many people refuse to grow up but choose to think and behave as babies (and little children) while others refuse to be what God made them to be but would rather live false lives according to the images created by dolls or human idols! In the vision, everyone was exhorted by The LORD to be their natural selves rather than vainly imitate idols and celebrities!! I hereby exhort all parents to refrain from cultivating the extremely destructive love for manmade idols in their children and endeavor prayerfully with all their strength to exorcise the “Barbie Doll and Betty Boop Spirit” (the Spirit of Idols and Idolatry) from their children!
Men and women reflect the glory and attributes of God differently. There is a way men reflect the glory and attributes of God that women do not. Similarly, there is a way that women reflect the glory and attributes of God that men do not. Dressing modestly, with decency and propriety, enables women to reflect appropriately the aspect of God’s glory and attributes of God that only they can reflect. When a woman does not dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to God, she fails to reflect the aspect of God’s glory and attributes of God that she has responsibility to reflect. In God’s scheme, woman, rather than man, is the ultimate repository and custodian of virtuousness. Let the women of God arise and take that very important responsibility with all seriousness!!
Apostle Paul states in 1 Timothy 2:9-10 as follows: “I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.”
Romans 12:1-2 exhorts us as follows: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Without question, dressing in a manner that is holy and pleasing to God is an integral facet of worshiping God and submitting to God. Psalm 96:9 exhorts us to: “Worship the Lord in the splendor (beauty) of his holiness.” Aptly, Jesus Christ commands us in John 4:24 as follows: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
RESPONSIBILITY
It is the responsibility of all churches, pastors, evangelists, preachers, teachers, missionaries and all other Servants of God to admonish all members of their congregations and disciples to always dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to the LORD as articulated in this message. It is our duty and obligation to God. In this regard, I hereby admonish especially all first ladies and deaconesses in our churches and all female pastors, evangelists, preachers, teachers, missionaries, choristers and all other female Servants of God to always dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY as articulated in this message and in so doing, be faithful ambassadors of Christ and be light and godly examples to all women!! However, we must not reject people who dress in violation of God’s prescribed dressing code and turn them away from our churches. It would be legalistic if we did that. Our sacred responsibility is to proclaim the truth of God in this regard and allow the Holy Spirit to convict the members of our churches to obey, honor and please God as we lovingly and regularly remind, exhort and encourage them to do so; knowing and appreciating that we are all imperfect and at various levels (stages) of sanctification and growth in Christ! Those who love God sincerely and seek to please him will be convicted eventually by the Holy Spirit in this regard and they will repent and dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! Parents, particularly fathers, have a sacred responsibility to ensure that their children, especially their daughters, dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to God. Husbands, as heads over their wives in Christ, have the sacred responsibility to ensure that their wives dress in a manner that is holy and pleasing to God.
WE MUST ESCHEW HYPOCRISY:
It is extremely important to emphasize that we must eschew hypocrisy; we must be very mindful of the fact that holy-dressing is not the sum total of holiness by itself but just an essential component of holiness! We must therefore resist and flee the temptation of masking our sinfulness (hearts and acts of pride, arrogance, folly, greed, malice, deceit, lying, envy, slander, murder, adultery, fornication, etc.) with outward appearance of holiness (holy-dressing). We must avoid being Pharisees, who our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rebuked in Matthew 23:25-26, as follows: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.”
BE HOLY FOR I, THE LORD YOUR GOD, AM HOLY
God says in Leviticus 19:1-2: “Be holy for I, The LORD your God, am holy”. We are also exhorted in Hebrews 12:14 as follows: “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Being holy entails dressing in a manner that honors and pleases God! In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus exhorts us to: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”. May we humble ourselves before God and receive his grace to enter through the narrow gate and walk in the narrow road that leads to eternal life. Amen!!!
